- Provide technical and managerial assistance to HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE and DISASTER RISK REDUCTION (DRR) projects/programs, including:

- Developing innovative methods and hands-on tools, apps and technology to promote DRR and support humanitarian response efforts
- Delivering on-site operation support in disaster and humanitarian settings
- Conducting rapid needs assessment

- Analyze and disseminate trends, challenges and best practices in disaster management

Education & Training
- Provide technical assistance to EDUCATION projects/programs (early childhood care and education; basic education; youth & adult education), including:
- Program design & planning, curriculum development, capacity building (e.g. teacher training, training of trainers), monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
- Conduct training needs assessment and customize training based on the needs and objectives of different kinds of stakeholders
- Training includes disaster risk reduction, child-centered teaching methodology, M&E, project management and humanitarian operation simulation

Evaluation & Research
- Conduct independent evaluation to assess project/program relevance, effectiveness, sustainability & impact in disaster management, education as well as other themes or sectors (e.g. health and gender)
- Carry out other types of analyses, studies and research using quantitative and/or qualitative methodology, including:
- Situational or policy analyses, needs assessment, baseline study, program review, KAP study
- Research on disaster management and education (e.g. trends, issues and challenges; good practices; innovative methods, solutions and technologies)

Project Management
- Develop or review project/program proposals and concept notes
- Provide technical and managerial assistance in designing, planning and implementing projects/programs
- Review project/program management of NGOs and foundations, and recommend improvement for project/program quality, effectiveness and sustainability
- Build capacity of project/program implementation teams in effective project management (e.g. logical framework, Theory of Change, results-based management, M&E)
